The original plans I laid out on AH.com is that this will be reminiscent of Worm shard budding. And yes I am well aware of the problems regarding this last tid bit, still it might give Ned something to do. I remember there was a general plan posted on AH about what Ned would do, where he would build the settlements and so on, and encouraging lords to send second sons and other chosen men to take up their rule, as long as they brought people to live there, if that still holds, eventually Ned could offer to same deal to the other realms as well, in the Riverlands and the Vale, they probably have a few second and third sons that could be sent up North to gain a lordship. Still I'm curious what he would think of Sansa's gift, the girl could mine gold in record time, I doubt he would switch from Kat to her, however it might still cause a few problems to his plans, her minions can work the mines with ease and her ships can reach ports much quicker then anyone else, heck he might realize that if her farms produce food at a quicker rate then she could undersell the stuff in Essos and cause harm to whatever ties Westeros has to Essos regarding crop sale. LF might have more cash on hand to play his game, if the North has success and starts paying more taxes, it probably will happen however that's years down the line once more settlements are built and people live there. Maybe point the faith into making noise and keeping them locked up in the north, there are more ways however I can't think of to many at this time.

If this gets into more serious territory then a POV from the rest of realm will be welcomed, more so from the other big players, Varys will have to change his plan on how to isolate the North or at least break them from the Baratheons because his boy Aegon can land all he want in Westeros however if Sansa throws down a forward base then keeps sending disposable minions at him then his army will crumble to pieces in under a week, if he can even land his ships, looking at you game ships. I can't imagine someone with magic will get a lot of marriage offers, especially not to the crown, the Targs had that and well.not sure if the memory of Bloodraven is gone from the capital. If both girls have magic I can't see a marriage to Joff happening, maybe Myrcella would stay behind to marry Bran or something, I'm curious how the other realms will react to the news, hopefully it will happen after Ned has a strong base to work with in case the worst happens. If Arya is to ever have powers it should be something much smaller, like giving Sansa the ability to change civs or being able to change an existing building to another civ. To many hens in the then house, it wouldn't be called Age of Sanse then, it would be one of starks, a nightmare scenario is the two fighting against each other by using their powers and bleeding the north dry of resources while they send their armies to hack at each other.
